Trees for Troops Program
We continue to participate in the Trees for Troops program with the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation which is the 501(c) (3) branch of the National Christmas Tree Association. This program provides Real Christmas trees to the military members and their families across the US and overseas. This year the foundation hopes to deliver 15,000 to 17,000 trees to 30 plus bases. The overseas trees will be shipped starting mid November.
Consumers may now participate by purchasing a tree at a special reduced price between November 28, 2008 and December 7, 2008 which will be shipped to military bases in Southern California December 3 - 14. Consumers may also contribute to the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation which also supports kids, families and the environment while enhancing the Christmas spirit.
